3-12 May – Czech Republic to Hungary

We are exploring the wonders of central/eastern Europe. Breathtaking landscapes, trees in full blossom, ancient castles, lovely old cities and villages, snow-capped mountains. We have reached the northeastern region of Hungary after driving through the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These countries have a fantastic tourist potential. But we are surprised that so few people speak any word of English.

22 April - 2 May – Sweden to Czech Republic

Short update from the Ringdahl family. We spent some wonderful days exploring Berlin in Germany before heading to Poland and then to Czech Republic. In Berlin we stayed in a backpackers hostel, but after that we have slept in our rooftop tent. It is fantastic!
In Poland we had a namegiving ceremony for the car – it is now called Alhambra (Arabic for “The Red House”). We have been lucky with the weather so far, and camping is lovely. We are truly enjoying to be on the road again! At the moment we are in Kutná Hora, a beautiful old town in the Czech Republic.
