I've read this book and can confirm that its very exciting and well written. I stayed up until 3am to finish it!
Especially the part about you travels in Ethiopia and Sudan were very exciting. What an incredible effort of you to finish the trip despite all your troubles! Did you ever find out if crazy Ivan and his poor wife and son managed to pass the border between Sudan and Egypt?
I've also followed this blog and your trip to Asia with all the kids, what a fascinating read! But I never saw an entry that describes what really happened to you during the earthquake in Pakistan?!
