Back in Sweden
We are back in Sweden now to enjoy some weeks together with family and friends (and to eat herring and potatoes). The journey continues at the end of August.

1 July – Beach life in Greece
We have reached the Mediterranean Sea and are enjoying lazy days in the sun. The beach is clean, the sea is warm and the water is perfectly clear. We have even found a camp site with a swimming pool for children. The kids are really enjoying it!
29-30 June – Pirin mountains and Melnik, Bulgaria
After our lovely stay in the Rodopi Mountains, we crossed the beautiful Pirin Mountains. 
We drove through Muslim villages and crossed streams where bridges from the Roman times are still standing intact.
On the other side of Pirin, we enjoyed the sand pyramids and vineyards of Melnik. Then it was time to say goodbye to Bulgaria, yet another fascinating country on our journey.
