After our lovely stay in the Rodopi Mountains, we crossed the beautiful Pirin Mountains. 
We drove through Muslim villages and crossed streams where bridges from the Roman times are still standing intact.
On the other side of Pirin, we enjoyed the sand pyramids and vineyards of Melnik. Then it was time to say goodbye to Bulgaria, yet another fascinating country on our journey.
